Rolland - Elements
For Rolland, this first illustrated edition of hockey sticks is conceived as a symbolic fusion between natural elements and animal spirit. Each stick embodies an element, fire, earth, and air, translated into character, attitude, and performance through a metaphorical alliance with an animal.
Fire takes the form of the fox: agile, instinctive, and explosive. A symbol of speed, intelligence, and sudden acceleration. Earth is represented by the bear: solid, grounded, and powerful. It speaks of control, balance, and unstoppable strength. Air is embodied by the vulture: silent, patient, and dominant from above. A creature of vision, anticipation, and tactical precision.
Illustrated in a bold vector language, each design merges element and animal into a single visual force — not as decoration, but as identity. This symbiosis transforms the stick into more than a tool: it becomes an extension of the player’s character, a statement of how they move, think, and compete.
The result is a brutal, expressive concept where nature, instinct, and performance converge into a new visual code for roller hockey
